1. Who operates Buny
Quantara AI FZ-LLC, registered with RAKEZ in the United Arab Emirates (registration 0000004093276), operates Buny. Our registered address is CWEP4861, Compass Building, Al Shohada Road, Al Hamra Industrial Zone-FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. 2. Information we handle
When you register, we handle your email, display name, authentication records, confirmation that you are 18 or older, and the time you accept our terms. You may add a profile photo. Your recipes, captions, food photos, short videos, covers, country and cuisine labels, community table choices, comments, reactions, follows, saves, blocks, reports, and ambassador applications create additional records.
The app keeps certain preferences and preview actions on your device. Camera, photo library, and microphone access is used only when you choose to capture or upload content. We receive technical records needed for sign-in, uploads, security, and service operation from our providers. We do not currently use an advertising SDK or charge in-app purchases.
3. How we use information
We use this information to create and secure accounts, display approved content and profiles, support collaboration and interactions, notify members, enforce limits and community rules, review posts and reports, answer support requests, investigate misuse, and meet legal obligations. Some information is necessary to provide the service; other content is shared because you choose to post it. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Visibility and moderation
Approved posts, profile names and photos, comments and reaction counts can be visible to other members and may be shared by them. Posts and comments are submitted for review before publication. Reports and related account records are available to authorized moderators. Blocking affects what you see in the app but cannot erase copies that others have already saved or shared. Do not upload private information about other people without permission.
5. Providers and transfers
We use Google Firebase for authentication, database, storage and backend functions, and Cloudflare Stream for video uploads and delivery. These providers may process data outside the UAE. We may disclose information to service providers that help operate the app, moderators with a need to review it, or authorities where legally required. Direct sponsor placements may link to a sponsor website with its own privacy practices.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain account and content records while the account is active and as needed for moderation, security, disputes and legal obligations. You can delete individual posts and request full account deletion inside the app or at the public deletion page. The deletion process removes the account and associated app content after successful completion. Provider backups, records legally required to be kept, copies shared outside Buny, and failed or incomplete uploads may follow separate retention or cleanup processes. Contact us if a deletion appears incomplete.
7. Your choices and rights
You can choose what to post, change your profile photo, remove your own posts, block members, and request deletion of your account. To ask for access, correction, deletion, or another applicable privacy right, email support@quantaraai.ae. We may verify your identity before acting on a request. Availability of particular rights depends on applicable law.
8. Age, security and changes
Buny is for adults aged 18 and over and does not intentionally offer accounts to children. We use provider authentication, access rules, content review and other safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. We will post material policy changes here with a new effective date and seek any consent required by law.
